Concision brings smart building technology to Hobsonville Point Primary
Southbase Construction and Concision off-site manufacturing (OSM) have collaborated to deliver two brand new modular classrooms and six learning spaces for children at Hobsonville Point Primary in around two months.
The new classrooms and learning spaces will accommodate roll growth at Hobsonville Point Primary.
Concision manufactured all the panels for the classrooms and learning spaces its Rolleston and Matamata factories over a 35-day period.
All the panels were made in Rolleston before being transported to Matamata for assembly and service installation, including heat pumps. From there the buildings where wrapped and transported, whole, to Hobsonville Point Primary.
Southbase completed the siteworks, installation and the final hand over of all eight teaching spaces in just 20 calendar days.
“Globally, more parts of buildings are being manufactured in factories, concurrently with on-site building work, significantly speeding up construction times. In New Zealand, Concision is leading that OSM transformation at scale through our design IP and our automated OSM processes.
“For the education sector, this offers a smart, fast, sustainable building solution,” says Wade Macauley GM, Concision.
